Bitch on the Blog

Cue Tissue

As befits a member of the Master Race I currently appear to mainly focus on the body (mine).

Am in urgent and dire need to find out why I can’t stop sneezing the last two days. Not sneezing as in “having a cold” or as in “allergy” (I don’t do allergies): Just sneezing. And when I sneeze I sneeze. Noise. Explosion. The relief is immense. It’s why I love sneezing. Instant gratification. You didn’t ask for it. But it’ s there. Which reminds me, and you may or  may not, depending on temperament, confirm this: Is there anything more frustrating than feeling that tickle in your nose only to then evaporate without that which you anticipated? No. There isn’t.

Uh Uh Uhhhh……………. wait for it, Uh….TSHOOOOOOOH,

  1. Ha Ha! Blessed as I am with a voice which has been known to carry great distances, at leas 1,320 yards, I am also blessed with an explosive sneeze. Provided only that I do not smother it.

This morning I was in the garden and produced a classic four sneeze salute which drew, “Bless you!” shouted from several gardens away….. Agree that there is nothing so frustrating as that pre announced sneezed that never manifests itself.

    Bless you!

    • Magpie, always good to find a kindred spirit.

The one thing I ask – not that I waste any time on it – why do people say “Bless you” when you sneeze? Think about it. “Bless you”. Get a grip: I only sneezed. What do they expect me to do? DIE?

The Master Race always dead accurate in use of their lingo, if at times expansive, will say “Gesundheit” (good health). As summonings up go you can’t beat it, can you: “Die if you must. But don’t sneeze on MY doorstep.”

      Done, not dusted, yours
      U
