Don’t

Just read my Horror Scope. By accident. The deed is done. Anchored in my brain. As off now living in dread of imminent future.

Yes, the forecast is brilliant. Thus hopes are raised. Will, no doubt, be unpleasantly surprised, nay, confirmed that our fortune is in the stars whilst lying in the gutter (see Oscar Wilde if you must).

  1. At least it sounds prolific, even it tragically so. Could be you’re like a now discovered character of a tales from an Edgar Allen Poe story. Though from the words of Jesse Jackson, ‘Keep hope alive.’

    • Totsymae, how did you know? I am a figment of macabre imagination. As such immortal. Do come and see me any time (between now and forever). As to “hope”: Try and hit it on its head with a spade. It won’t work. Hope is Indestructible.

  2. Grasp for the stars, even from the gutter……

    • Winsome Bella, The good thing about the gutter being that you can fall no further. There is safety in lack of depth. And, it is, of course, an oversight on Oscar Wilde’s part that he didn’t cater for unfavorable weather conditions. But that’s optimists for you. If the sun doesn’t shine they assume that they are wearing shades. Which is why, on the whole, I advise everyone not to take them off.

  3. Does this forecast have an expiration date?

    • Good question.

      • Phil and Totsy – please don’t ask me questions I have no answer to.
