I won’t give you the whole saga. Just a conclusion.

And the conclusion is that I have missed my vocation. I should have become an efficiency expert. Speciality: Logistics.

If some people were ants there wouldn’t be a heap. If some people where bees there’d be few workers and no honey. Where that leaves the Queen Bee I don’t know.

  1. The Queen is the logistics expert. Someone has to tell all those worker bees to get buzzy – um…busy!

  2. I agree. A long time ago (or so it seems) I was listening to my mother-in-law gripe about the many divergent opinions of the ladies on a church committee. They all seemed to know what was best for the future of the gardens of the church (or some other element of the church’s survival). After listening to her diatribe for most of the family meal, I said, “I seems to me that there are too many queens for a kingdom that small.” She just looked at me like the heathen Buddhist I am and poured herself more wine.
