  1. Great if you want to lose weight.
Me–I’m never hungry but eat like a horse “cause it tastes good.

    • No, I don’t want to lose weight.

It’s just there is a peculiar connection between my stomach and my self (whatever the latter is). My stomach will shut down when things weigh on my mind. Double crossing bastard (that’s my stomach – grumbling whilst not wishing to receive).

This is no joke: Last night I was lying there like something out of a trash novel wildly imagining someone, say my mother, bringing me a bowl of soup. Preferably with a straw. Going the way of least resistance. Obviously, being separated from her by hundreds of miles that was unrealistic. Next best thing was imagining myself in a first class hotel ringing room service. For a Club Sandwich. I love room service and I am very fond of Club Sandwiches.

      • Tom’s stomach is shut down now too. Mine was a couple days ago. Just went to get the pine needles for my juniper places & HER stomach was shut down too. We’ve all the the flu shot.

Would be nice to have room service for that Club Sandwich.

  2. I know that feeling Ursula. I just call it – “The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”

    • Your interpretation is too kind, Ramana.

I’d say: “The spirit has no back bone, and the flesh has no spine.”

Anyway, as usual I keep out of the conflict between mind and body. Let them battle it out among themselves. Should I wilt in the process both of them will die to regret it.
