Bitch on the Blog

More of little Plastic

Con ‘complimented’ me on my knowledge of history.

I know nothing – of anything. I am just some hapless figment of my imagination stumbling through the thicket of time allotted to me. And before you say anything, Jean – I am NOT wallowing in self pity. Just stating the truth. Am now fully subscribed member of nihilism: “I think – therefore I ain’t.”

As off, now and in the wake of  most unfortunate blogging events, I shall change my pseudonym to Ursula Bin Liners. This will not only feed into Con’s belief as to my ability to lie the birds out of the trees. It will also feed my paranoia which is in urgent need of watering. Thanks here go to the ever imaginative Magpie – the bird which knows where treasure lies. Magpie tells a good story. ‘Bin liners’ his copyright; lent to me till I move up again on the centile of the world’s approval.

Yes, approval. Insert sigh, followed by smirkey snort. Hard to come by [approval that is; snorts are a baker’s dozen to a dime]. Wondering now if Con fathered my son. No sooner has he [son, the UNbeliever] ticked me off for offending Con as to likening the young OBL to an even younger JC, the Angel looks at something I plucked off The Guardian a few days ago. To be framed. Don’t ask. Or do. Disaster lies on my ever changing displays on walls. Son who I thought fathered by either his father or Lemmy (Motorhead – don’t overlook the Umlaut) questions my wisdom once more. Apparently, if I do frame and hang up that which I intend to, I will condone Bin Laden. Anyone – including the Angel – ever heard about “ironic”? Never mind. I shall be unarmed. Other than the hammer which bangs the nail into the wall.

Hugs and kisses,

Ursula Bin Liners, In a Landfill, England

  1. I can’t make a comment until some of this sinks in. Who is Lemmy, (Motorhead)? English doesn’t have umlauts. I’d have Jean help me out but she’s probably not out of bed yet.

    • Forget Lemmy and Umlauts, it’s an in-house joke (gone stale); and he does have a wart on his (let me think) left hand cheek, or maybe he turned the other one. I am squeemish – I cannot stand warts. Which is why I’d have made such a good witch: In the olden times warts were stewed with frogs to make a broth to die in.

As ever yours, keep up the cleaning but not at cost of keeping me in much needed humoUr,

  2. Oi! England is not a Rubbish dump! Not of any kind….. and neither do we make a big brouhaha about your poor and huddled masses! Nor boast of criminal ancestry…we just put up with people like the Scots and French and the like!

  3. I’m confused about the connection between your being a “lier” and a Bin Liner. I assume a bin liner is the plastic that you line your garbage cans with, what we call garbage bags? Your “In a Landfill” helps a lot.

Maybe a picture of a bin liner would be a safer one to put on your wall? Why put up a picture of someone else instead of celebrating yourself?

    • My dear Jean, there is NO connection between ‘liar’ and ‘Bin Liner’. Neither will I grace my wall with rubbish.

Magpie told me a story which I will quote in a second. Before I do: In wake of provocation I originally had adopted “Ursula Bin Laden” as my new signature. But that’s cheap. For more reasons than one. And then I borrowed Magpie’s treasure and I hope he won’t mind my relating it:

“Several years ago I saw a van with the legend Osma Plastics on its side I got to school and wondered out loud if there was such a product as Osma bin liners”.

      Fertilizer.

Et voila, Jean: Thus Ursula Bin Liners was born. Since branded a liar what do I have to lose? Nothing. And there is nothing more worthless to lose than nothing.

      As ever yours,

  4. Oops! Should have been liar, not lier.

  5. About nothingness—I’m a lot closer to it than you are, since I don’t belief in reincarnation or other forms of afterlife. I’m comfortable with the concept.

    • Yes, so am I. Comfortable. Science and maggots aside one cannot only admire but be astonished at people believing they are “suffering” here on earth to then be rewarded with an “AFTER”life. Where is it written that it won’t be much WORSE than the one they have just left behind? Reference: Barnacle.
